The requirements to enrol on the Ryanair Future Flyer Academy Gateway 1 programme are:

Hold an unrestricted right to live and work in the EU or Morocco

Minimum age: 18 years
Have at least a secondary education diploma

Hold a PPL(A) license

Have accomplished at least 150 hours of total flight time, out of which 100 hours as PIC

Have completed the ATPL(A) theoretical training and passed all the related exams within 36 months before the skill test

Have accomplished over 50 hours of cross-country flight as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)

Have completed a VFR cross-country flight as PIC, including a flight of at least 540 km (300 NM) in the course of which full-stop landings at 2 different aerodromes were made

Hold an EASA Class I medical certificate with no restrictions for IFR

Hold a Night VFR rating (might be completed with Bartolini Air)

Have passed the English ICAO proficiency exam for a minimum level 4

Be able to produce a criminal record check (CRC) basic disclosure certificate

Financial conditions

All Gateway 1 students are eligible for a Type Rating with no additional payment and receive a conditional job offer upon enrolment
