Formalities

Students from EU

If you want to join the training, nothing could be easier. All you need is:

  • ID card / EU passport
  • Minimum Class 1 medical certificate, issued in accordance with the requirements of PART-MED by an EASA member state before the practical training starts
  • Pass our internal assessment

Students from outside the EU

To start the training, you need to meet the standard conditions for the course you want to join and additionally obtain the following:

  • visa allowing you to stay in Poland for the duration of the training (Each individual is responsible for verifying whether a visa is required based on their country of origin),
  • approval for the training from Polish CAA for each training module,
  • minimum Class 1 medical certificate, issued in accordance with the requirements of PART-MED by an EASA member state before the practical training starts,
  • pass our internal assessment
  • We are here to help you obtain the above-mentioned documents, both information wise & administratively.

Stay with us

Accommodation

We offer accommodation for students in modern dormitories and hotels, located in the center of Łódź.

You will have the main city attractions nearby and enjoy convenient public transport connections to the main airport terminal, which is next to the flight training centre. If you choose to come to Poland by car, we have a dedicated parking lot adjacent to our headquarter.

Łódź is one of the most cyclist-friendly cities in Poland and many students take advantage of our bike rental and enjoy the numerous bike tracks.

Student support

Our students spend plenty of time with us – months, sometimes a few years. It’s absolutely crucial for us to make them feel at home – at Bartolini Air and in Poland generally.

You can count on us to help you with anything from formalities and translations to suggestions where to chill out during the weekend.

Airline Pilot Club

Bartolini Air has partnered with the Airline Pilot Club (APC) set up by Captain Andy O’Shea in order to help people willing to become airline pilots navigate their careers – learn about their own abilities, choose the best flying school and arrange funding. Candidates that register for APC can avail of a number of benefits including free psychometric assessments, online webinars and Andy’s great career guidance to name a few.
